Alex Reimann Crowned PRO-AM Champion in Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe

EST1 Racing’s lead driver Alex Reimann has secured the overall championship title in the PRO-AM category of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe. He also finished third in the overall Sport Division standings—marking a standout performance in the international GT racing scene.

The season concluded at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where Reimann dominated both final races in the PRO-AM class, taking two consecutive wins. In the overall classification, he finished 17th and 15th respectively out of a highly competitive grid.

EST1 Racing’s Venezuelan driver, Javier Ripoll Jr, overcame technical challenges throughout the weekend and still managed to finish third overall in the AM group of the Club Division, a commendable result in a tightly contested field.

The Barcelona round also saw a third EST1 Racing car on the grid, driven by Italian newcomer Angelo Fontana. He delivered a promising debut with a sixth and second place finish in the Club Division, showcasing strong potential for future events.

This season, EST1 Racing proudly carried the message “EST1 Against Cancer” in memory of beloved friend Urmas Lindma. The entire campaign and championship victory were dedicated to his legacy, and to honour the courage of everyone fighting cancer. Team members wore the slogan in his memory, turning each result into a tribute of strength and solidarity.

Next up, EST1 Racing shifts focus to the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux season, which kicks off on 9th May at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium. Ahead of that, the team will take part in several endurance races across Europe as part of their continued 2024 programme.
