Winter season wrap: PSCSE 2026 ends with Ellinas and Ripoll Jr. on overall podium positions

Quanloop EST1 Racing has completed its 2026 Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe campaign, closing the winter series with Tio Ellinas classified third overall in the Sport Division standings and Javier Ripoll Jr. finishing second overall in Club Division.

The four-round calendar took the paddock from Portimão and Estoril to Valencia and the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, with the team running across both divisions as part of its wider 2026 Porsche one-make programme.

Ellinas: first winter back on a full schedule ends P3 overall

Ellinas’ PSCSE season formed the opening phase of his 2026 programme with Quanloop EST1 Racing, following his signing for a three-championship campaign that also includes Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux and Porsche Carrera Cup France.

He opened the year with a podium at Portimão and stayed in the points through Estoril and Valencia, where he qualified inside the top three and finished second in Race 1. Ellinas completed the season at Barcelona with two further points finishes to secure third overall in the Sport Division.

Reimann: pace in Valencia, podium to finish in Barcelona

For Alexander Reimann, the winter arc ran from an interrupted start to a final-round podium.

After missing the Portimão weekend in the official classification, Reimann returned at Estoril with a pair of top-six results and followed with a weekend in Valencia that was defined by pace and recovery drives. He finished third on the road in Race 1 before a jumpstart penalty dropped him back in the final result, and Race 2 ended with a drop down the order after contact while running inside the top three.

Reimann’s season ended with a third place in Sport Division Race 2 at Barcelona, securing a podium finish to close the winter calendar.

Ripoll Jr.: wins at Valencia and Barcelona secure P2 overall in Club

In Club Division, Ripoll Jr. was a front-runner across the full winter schedule and carried his pace into results when the championship tightened.

After finishing second at Portimão and scoring a double second at Estoril, he took a key win at Valencia and returned to the top step again in Race 2 at Barcelona. Ripoll Jr. finished the winter season second overall on points in Club Division.
