Enjoying a packed GT racing calendar, Alex Reimann of EST1 Racing is adding another high-profile outing to his 2024 campaign. This weekend, he’ll take on the legendary Nürburgring circuit, making a guest appearance in the fiercely competitive Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany – alongside his ongoing commitments in GT Open and Carrera Cup Benelux.
There’s plenty of excitement surrounding this event for multiple reasons. First and foremost, Carrera Cup Deutschland is Porsche’s oldest and most prestigious one-make series. With nearly 30 drivers on the grid, Reimann will face the strongest competition of his season so far, not only from emerging young talents but also from several seasoned veterans who regularly compete in the German championship.
As such, all eyes will be on the Nürburgring this weekend. A strong showing could mean a great deal for a young driver like Reimann, especially given that the round takes place as part of the DTM race weekend, one of Europe’s premier motorsport events on the Grand Prix layout of the world-renowned Nürburgring.
Although currently planned as a one-off guest entry, both EST1 Racing and Reimann are fully motivated to make their mark in this prestigious field and gain valuable experience ahead of the autumn stretch in GT Open and Carrera Cup Benelux.
