EST1 Racing’s Alex Reimann kicked off the season in style by taking first place in the PRO-AM category at the opening round of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe in Portimão, Portugal.
Representing Estonia under the EST1 Racing banner, Reimann competed in car #47, while Venezuelan driver Javier Ripoll Jr joined the team for the first time, driving car #191. Reimann’s talent was on full display during the opening race, where he secured a commanding win in the PRO-AM class. Despite a setback in Race 2 due to an incident on track, he held on to finish third in his category whilst demonstrating both speed and resilience.
Javier Ripoll Jr made a solid debut in the AM category, qualifying sixth. Thanks to consistent driving across the weekend, he finished both races in fifth position with both overall and within his class.
This season, EST1 Racing carries a powerful message on every car: “EST1 AGAINST CANCER” a campaign that symbolises the team’s ongoing commitment to supporting those affected by cancer and raising awareness through motorsport.
The team’s journey in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe continues in February and March, with upcoming rounds scheduled at Estoril, Valencia, and Barcelona.
