Alex Reimann Ready to Make His Mark at Misano in Porsche Carrera Cup France

Young Estonian racing driver Alex Reimann is gearing up to shine once again on the international stage as he heads to Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy this weekend. Following one of the strongest performances of his career during the previous Porsche Carrera Cup France (PCCF) round in Belgium — despite engine troubles — Reimann arrives at Misano determined to close the gap to the front-runners.

The fourth round of the PCCF season marks a symbolic midpoint for both Reimann and EST1 Racing. While 2025 has largely been positioned as a year of learning and experience, the Estonian driver has already made impressive progress.

“Alex has made a remarkable leap forward, and we believe he’s ready to go after his best result of the season this weekend,” said Raimo Kulli, team principal at EST1 Racing, highlighting Reimann’s continued development.

Confidence is high on both sides of the garage.

“I feel confident at Misano and want to show I can run very close to the absolute front,” said Reimann ahead of the race weekend.

Although Misano was originally designed with motorcycles in mind, the track presents a unique challenge even for Porsche GT3 Cup cars. Its narrow layout and limited overtaking zones demand precision and racecraft. The scorching Italian summer heat and the track’s surface characteristics further complicate the equation, with grip levels that can shift rapidly.

Still, the team is staying calm and focused.

“Misano is a racetrack like any other,” said Kulli with confidence. “Alex tested here for two full days in the spring in preparation for this very race.”

Strong Foundation, Clear Goals

Reimann is scheduled to contest two races this weekend — another key step as he seeks to establish himself in the highly competitive world of international GT racing.
