EST1 Racing delivered a strong home performance last weekend during the BaTCC Pärnu Summer Race 2023, held at the Porsche Ring—the team’s home circuit and simultaneously serving as a round of the Estonian Circuit Racing Championship.
The Estonian outfit fielded two BMW 325 entries for the weekend: Car #99, piloted by Alex Reimann, and Car #3, driven by Romet Reisin.
Sprint Race Highlights: Fastest Lap and a Commanding Win
Saturday’s programme featured two 20-minute sprint races. In the opening race, Alex Reimann claimed third place in the PRO category and fourth overall, while also setting the fastest lap of the race with an impressive time of 1:29.971. That performance earned him pole position for the second race, which he duly converted into a victory with a confident and controlled drive.
Teammate Romet Reisin also made a strong showing, finishing second in Race 1 and fourth in Race 2, underlining the team’s consistent pace across the board.
Sunday Endurance: Victory and Misfortune in the NeA Race
On Sunday, Reisin partnered with Priit Kadastik for the two-hour NeA endurance race, where the duo executed a solid strategy to secure first place overall.
Alex Reimann, who also took part in the race, led the field for most of the event before being forced to retire on lap 69 due to a technical issue, cutting short what had been a dominant performance.
Busy Autumn Ahead: International Commitments Loom
Looking forward, Romet Reisin and Priit Kadastik are set to compete in the BaTCC season finale in Riga next month.
Meanwhile, Alex Reimann will make a high-profile guest appearance in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland on 9–10 September, a valuable opportunity for both the driver and the team to demonstrate their capabilities on a larger international stage.
EST1 Racing will also return to the GT Cup Open series later this month, with the next round scheduled for 24 September at Monza. The season finale will follow on 22 October at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
