EST1 Racing Becomes First Estonian Team to Compete in Germany’s Porsche Carrera Cup

This past weekend, EST1 Racing proudly became the first Estonian team to take part in the prestigious Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, competing at the Sachsenring circuit in Germany.

Behind the wheel was EST1 Racing’s lead driver, Alex Reimann, who has already made headlines this season with a second-place finish at the 12 Hours of Monza and a race win on his debut in the GT Cup Open Europe at Paul Ricard.

Despite facing the challenges of a new circuit and having only one practice session before qualifying, Reimann delivered a strong performance, finishing 20th out of 30 competitors overall, and 6th among the rookies.

Looking ahead to the 2024 season, EST1 Racing is planning a full campaign in the Carrera Cup Deutschland with two Porsche 992 GT3 Cup cars. One of the seats is already filled in for Alex Reimann, while the second driver will be announced at a later date.

Next up for EST1 Racing is the GT Cup Open round at the legendary Autodromo Nazionale Monza on 24th September, followed by a race at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 22nd October.
