Reimann and EST1 Show Strong Pace in Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux Debut at Spa

This weekend, the third round of the GT Cup Europe takes place at Belgium’s legendary Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, where Alex Reimann and the EST1 Racing team continue their exciting 2024 campaign in their striking black-and-orange Porsche.

Reimann returns to Spa with fresh familiarity, having raced at the same circuit just weeks ago during his debut in the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux. There, he impressed with his pace and racecraft despite being new to the series. Now, the competition tightens even further as a diverse 21-car grid comes together—including fierce contenders from Aston Martin and Ferrari.

The GT Cup Europe is built specifically for Pro-Am and Am driver pairings, featuring close competition between high-performance GT cars across Europe’s most iconic circuits. With Reimann behind the wheel, EST1 Racing is once again expected to be among the front-runners.

And if this weekend’s Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix turns out to be more strategy than spectacle, there’s no shortage of drama guaranteed at Spa. Reimann has even been named one of the potential title contenders in the championship—so all eyes will be on the #47 Porsche as the action unfolds.

Whether the team takes the win or not, one thing’s for sure: excitement is all but guaranteed in Belgium. Spa’s notoriously unpredictable weather may also play a role as rain has already been a feature in this week’s practice sessions.
